Elite Institute for Instructors certifies that an instructor that has completed our certification process has the ability to provide quality instruction.

Has shown their understanding of
-
Has demonstrated the ability to apply
professional instructional and evaluation techniques.

We do not teach the skills needed for an instructor to be considered skilled in their area of expertise. So, in order to be accepted into our certification program, a candidate instructor must provide evidence that they already have the skills necessary to be considered qualified to teach in their area of expertise.

We use a variety of things to determine if a candidate instructor has the background to be considered adequately skilled in their area of expertise. The amount and type expertise needed is based on the area and level the candidate is applying to be certified in.
Listed below are the things we look at to determine if an applicant appears to have adequate skills to be considered qualified in their area of expertise and at the level they are being certified at. Typically we are reviewing activities from the last 5 years. However, if a longer period provides a more accurate representation, then that is be used.
